The challenge in this case was to produce a wine for “bread and salami”, a very easy-to-drink wine.
The answer to this challenge came to me in 2019, when a local 90 year old farmer, Severino, donated his grapes for me to make some experiments. The candid and carefree wine I obtained was a success.
Nowadays Help comes from the first selection of the largest clusters in the vineyards.
Because of its high freshness and lighter body, it well represents what I had in mind from the beginning. The name “Help” came to me because this wine is aiding in better making the more important wines. By selecting the clusters for this wine in early September, it helps the remaining grape to mature more intensely, therefore giving richer wines.
